Microsoft Launches Health Care Cloud Service

On May 19, 2020, Microsoft announced that it has launched a “health care cloud service” called Micorsoft Cloud for Healthcare. The goal of the service is to assist payers and provider organizations more easily function during the coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic by providing assistance with telehealth, care management, and consumer engagement through apps that monitor data collected by medical devices linked to the cloud.
