Description: Patients with bipolar disorder often live with residual symptoms even when responding to treatment. In this virtual forum, Mauricio Tohen, MD, DrPH, MBA Professor and Chairman of Department of Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico and Joseph Goldberg, MD, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will discuss the concepts of response, remission, and recovery in bipolar disorder, and the impact of residual symptoms on disease recurrence and functional outcome.
