The Treatment Team, including the psychiatrist, is the best resource for information and advice about schizophrenia. Each Treatment Team can be made up of different types of healthcare professionals, so it’s helpful to know who might be on the team and what their roles are. Members of the Treatment Team can help a person with schizophrenia learn how to deal with positive, negative, and cognitive symptoms they may experience.
