Georgia Medicaid Finalizes MCO Contracts With Amerigroup, Centene, WellCare, & CareSource
The Georgia Medicaid program finalized four managed care contracts in November 2016 that go into effect on July 1, 2017. The awards were announced in 2015, but delayed due to a protest. The contracts were awarded to incumbents Amerigroup Georgia, Peach State Health Plan Inc. (Centene), and WellCare, as well as a new organization, CareSource Georgia.
