Description

A Virtual Live Event for PsychU members in Texas.

Inflammation has effects on physical and mental health. This presentation will carefully review the mechanistic roles of inflammatory signals on physiology, followed by an exploration of non-pharmacological interventions to improve overall wellness. The discussion will conclude with practical approaches to the daily implementation of these interventions.

Psychiatrist

Jonathan Lockhart, MD operates a psychiatry practice in Longview, TX, supervises behavioral health clinicians at Crossroads Family Care and Wellness Pointe Federally Qualified Health Center, serves as a Psychiatric Consultant for Baptist Community Health Services in New Orleans, LA and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Phillip Lai, PharmD, BCPP
Medical Science Liaison, OPDC

Phillip Lai, PharmD, BCPP is a Medical Science Liaison for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc. Dr. Lai has over 10 years’ experience managing chronic primary care and mental health conditions at the Veterans Administration and in Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers.
