Description

A Virtual Live Event for PsychU members in Illinois.

This presentation will review the incidence and prevalence of burnout among health care workers. The discussion will explore possible drivers of burnout and potential strategies for avoiding burnout and to build resilience.

Gaurava Agarwal, MD
Director of Physician Well-Being, Northwestern Medical Group

Dr. Agarwal has a double appointment at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine: He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education and in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He also serves as the Director of Physician Well-Being for Northwestern Medical Group. The recipient of many honors, Dr. Agarwal specializes in occupational and organizational psychiatry with an emphasis on workplace mental health.
