Virtual Forum: Understanding & Addressing Medication Adherence In Psychiatry

Description: Medication adherence is of great importance in optimizing outcomes in psychiatry, however definitions and understanding of adherence have evolved over time. In this virtual forum, Dawn Velligan, PhD and Michael Measom, MD will discuss the evolving definitions of adherence, those factors influencing and contributing to it, outcomes associated with poor adherence, misperceptions in estimating adherence, and strategies that may help improve it. The virtual forum will conclude with time for questions from the audience.
