Description

Webinar: Understanding Gender Difference In Depression

Location: Online Via PsychU.org

Description: The prevalence of depressive disorders is higher in women than men. Why? Many factors are thought to contribute to the divergence, including biological and clinical presentations. Understanding these variances may lead to earlier diagnosis and might aid the search for more personalized treatments.

In this webinar, Dr. Madhukar Trivedi and Dr. Laura Melaro will discuss the data behind gender differences in depression, including results from the STAR*D Trial, and their potential clinical implications.

Speakers are paid consultants to Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc.
