In this webinar, professionals in the field of suicidology, Bart Andrews, PhD, and Becky Stoll, LCSW, share their understandings of the intersection of technology and suicidality. Carolyn Jones, PhD, will moderate the discussion, which will delve into the impact of social media on suicidality and suicide prevention. The conversation also will highlight a new technology-based tool for clinical transition services and continuity of care for individuals at risk for a suicide-related crisis. Bart Andrews, PhD, is the Chief Clinical Officer at Behavioral Health Response. Dr. Andrews is the Chair of Missouri’s Suicide Prevention Network; a member of the Suicide Lifeline’s Standards, Training and Practices Committee; a member of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center’s (SPRC) Steering Committee; a ZeroSuicide Academy faculty member; and member of the American Association of Suicidology’s Executive Board of Directors. Dr. Andrews is a suicide attempt survivor and a proponent of embracing lived expertise in suicide prevention efforts.

Becky Stoll, LCSW, is Vice President of Crisis & Disaster Management for Centerstone. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of behavioral health experience, Ms. Stoll is faculty for the Suicide Prevention Resource Center’s Zero Suicides in Health and Behavioral Healthcare initiative, she is the Crisis Service Division Board Chair for the American Association for Suicidology, and she serves on the Steering Committee for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
