Description: Join us for a discussion between both of our bipolar expert section editors, Dr. Ketter and Dr. Goldberg. The discussion will focus on how to best support bipolar disorder patients and those with dual diagnosis. Topics include effects of social distancing on those with bipolar disorder, how one can support relapse prevention goals and lean on existing support during the pandemic, and what trauma-related care entails.

Dr. Terence Ketter is a Professor Emeritus, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, at Stanford University. He is also the Chief Founder of Bipolar Disorders Clinic at Stanford University. He is as well a PsychU Bipolar Disorder Section Advisor.

Joseph Goldberg, MD

Dr. Joseph F. Goldberg is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology and has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers on topics related mainly to the treatment and clinical features of bipolar disorder, as well as three books on bipolar disorder and psychopharmacology. He is also a PsychU Bipolar Disorder Section Advisor.
