This online session provides an overview of some of the different signaling pathways and functions that specific subtypes of neurotransmitters can have, reviews the concepts of receptor intrinsic activity and functional selectivity, as well as provides an introduction to neurotrophic factors, their signaling, and some activities that can be regulated by neurotrophic factor signaling.
