This online session reviews neurotransmitter receptor subtypes, provides an overview of neurotransmitter circuitry and biosynthesis, and speaks to the functional connectivity of monoaminergic neurotransmitters. The presentation will conclude with an overview of the morphology and function of neuroglia and the various types of neuroglial cells in the nervous system.
