Description: The objectives of this presentation are to discuss life expectancy in patients with schizophrenia; the increased risk of comorbidities, have poorer access to, and quality of, physical health care; the barriers to engaging people with severe mental illness or schizophrenia to an intervention; and programs that aim to improve physical healthcare for psychiatric patients.
