Virtual Forum: Management of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD): Breaking Through the Barriers

Location: Online Via PsychU.org

Description: An estimated 1 in 10 US adults report depression, with major depressive disorder (MDD) as common as diabetes or coronary artery disease. During this virtual forum, Greg Mattingly, MD, Associate Clinical Professor, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO and Robert Nelson, MD, Psychiatrist, DGR Behavioral Health, LLC , Wyomissing, PA will discuss how MDD contributes to decreased overall patient health and quality of life, the effect of an inadequate treatment response on patients and their families, and the importance of proactive management decisions. The discussion will conclude with time for questions from the audience.
