Description: Speakers in this presentation will explore unmet needs in the treatment of MDD, review the monoamine hypothesis in the etiology of MDD and the monoamine circuits in the brain, summarize some alternative hypotheses in the etiology of MDD, and describe the proposed mechanisms of action of current treatment options for MDD.
