Virtual Forum: Considerations In Managing MDD In Patients With Comorbid Cardiovascular Disease

Location: Online Via PsychU.org

Description:
Major depressive disorder (MDD) is often seen in patients with comorbid medical conditions. Selection of pharmacologic and nonpharmacological treatment options as well as other management strategies can be difficult to navigate due to the complicated pathophysiology in the underlying disorders and the complex nature of the therapies. In this exciting virtual forum two experts, Madhukar Trivedi, MD, and Sloan Manning, MD, will do a deep dive into cardiovascular disease and issues that may be faced by clinicians when managing MDD in these patients. Additionally, a discussion of where patients present and the interplay of clinicians needed to manage and monitor their treatment will be discussed.
Speakers are paid consultants for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc.
