Key Messages Relapse rates of psychosis have been reported as high as 80% within 5 years. Early signs of relapse may include anxiety, dysphoria, insomnia, poor concentration, and attenuated psychotic symptoms. Intermittent targeted medication appeared less effective than moderate dose maintenance medication at reducing relapse.
